lol. I bought a second Lufthansa worldshop aluminum suitcase when I was in getting a replacement wheel for Delta broke. On the second flight with the suitcase checked as luggage, Icelandair put a big enough dent in the bottom that it won’t close. Submitted a claim and probably get a second free basically-wrecked case

Can probably bend it back into shape or take it to Lufthansa in June when I’m at ethcc but it is all so tedious. Rimowa is a bit more durable and way more places for repair, at 3-4x the price.

I generally use pelican air 1615 1626 or 1637 cases, but I needed a second piece of luggage mid trip. Also really want something w 4 wheels instead of two. The new pelican hc50 coming out this summer likely becomes my default.
