GM 💐 Nobody tells you about when you have to throw away all the funeral flowers. Being reminded of the tragedy of the loss and also of the many lives Dad impacted. And the task of it all - mounds of trash bags lugged to the corner of the driveway. I’m wrestling with these silly feelings - because why does trash day feel like a weight on my heart. For anyone who has lost a parent unexpectedly - when did it start to feel a little better?

One of the bags broke and now we’re spraying down and scraping up spaghetti pie from the street so the dogs don’t eat it and get sick 🤦🏽♂️ Ffs
