Hugo Health Update 🐾💔

It’s been a rough 24 hours — Hugo was diagnosed with a condition called hemorrhagic gastroenteritis (HGE), which caused severe diarrhea, dehydration, and vomiting. 

We just got back from the emergency vet. 

Thankfully, his blood work showed no infection, but we’re moving forward with outpatient treatment: fluids, anti-nausea meds, antibiotics, and a bland diet of boiled chicken and rice.

We’re taking it hour by hour and praying this turns the corner. 

I’m so grateful for those who’ve checked in, and I’ll keep you posted as we go.
