Making social media completely open to devs might be the web3 social killer use case. Correcting the FB/Zynga original sin. Credible neutrality and a lower reliance on ad biz models allow devs to build apps/clients without fear. πŸ§ͺ Can experiment without having to bootstrap distribution and social graph. πŸ•ΈοΈ

RIP to APIs Spotify also throttled their requests in a similar fashion to Twitter, from very open to rate limited and deprecated majority of public endpoints. The integration developer went into hibernation, casually using oAuth here and there, and is now awoken by the bountiful protocol spring
