my expectation is that new clients will emerge that cater to the preferences of various groups, thus preventing the kind of mimetic crisis seen on the bird app that make it so shitty. if that happens i think u might be wrong, else maybe not

part of the secret master plan is to very specifically not catch fire too quickly by appealing primarily to a bunch of weirdos doing weird things on the internet to give us enough time to figure out the right social mechanics to scale
