Sharing an update on Season 1 of the @tipn Allocations Program to clear up confusion - the purpose of the program, how it works, and what's coming next. Program purpose: The Allocations Program demonstrates how token incentives can drive community growth - specifically growing active tippers and token holders. The results have been strong: 464 new tippers, 834 new holders, $6,717 in USDC tipping volume, and $6,521 in trading fees. We're on track for this to be a profitable growth program. This will help Tipn market its allocations product to other projects seeking to grow their communities, leading to more allocations + rewards for all Tipn community members.

So, how were allocations targeted? Week 1 targeted the top 10% of tippers/stakers, cross-platform users (DEGEN/Noice), and miniapp developers. Each criteria had point values, with a slight Quotient score multiplier. For Week 2, the program replaced inactive allocators and boosted high-performers. New candidates were ranked based on tipping activity, how many new tippers they brought on, and how many first-time $TIPN buyers they helped activate. For instance: @bitfloorsghost.eth's tips and casts helped bring on 23 new token holders and 41 new Tipn tippers, and @199.eth tips and casts helped bring on 43 new tippers and 15 new token holders.

Why some allocations decreased: This wasn't meant to punish anyone. To reward allocators making outsized contributions and give new high-performers meaningful amounts, the program had to reduce some existing allocations. There's a balance to strike, and based on feedback, we might not have hit it perfectly in some cases.

What's coming: - A dashboard showing the metrics behind each user's allocation so you can understand why people received the allocations they received, and why you may not have received an allocation - Allocation changes for weeks 3/4 will be much less dramatic - 3% of $TIPN supply (~$51,000) will be distributed at season end, primarily based on the metrics in the dashboard mentioned above (with some anti-farming measures applied) - Allocations programs with other projects, which would bring more rewards to more TIPN users are in the works The program is experimental and involves taking risks to innovate, but we believe those risks will help Tipn grow, and increase rewards for Tipn users.
