interesting because i am pretty sure ive heard him saying that bitcoin was an interesting idea but ultimatly useless and unworkable

Yes hes anti bitcoin as a currency because he doesn't believe that scarcity equals value, and while it does subvert power of the state he believes it gives that power back to a few big rich holders and doesn't benefit the working class.

But he is pro blockchain, pro nfts( including RWA use cases like a house deed) pro dao

Yeah, I wish he'd become more nuanced on bitcoin (all though from his viewpoint of an economic minister who had to manage a bail out i get it to an extent) but even back in 2010 he was saying blockchain is an amazing tool for problems we've not even imagined yet
