in the era of digital vibe populism, this center-left/centrist establishment can't beat zohran types and they also can't beat trump types. they are auraless

yes, i'm extrapolating a thematic structural shift in the US political system off a single local event

I actually think this is a fair take, considering new york city swung red in the presidential election, this campaign brought people out, the democratic party threw everything it could at beating zohran, and yet he still out performed all polling. 

This is a massive blow to the neo liberal establishment, even if just at a micro level
