The current tipping meta is cool But I really want to see the incentive coin meta be focused on strengthening the liquidity backbone of the coin, and not just incentivcing cashing out

This is very apt. Because tipping with a strong token that isn’t highly volatile would be ideal since sell pressure wouldn’t be as jarring. But if I am totally honest, it’s likely a semantic thing, but tipping as a concept to me feels icky. I would much rather pay direct for something or pay what feels right. The bandcamp “pay what you want” felt good because I often would get the download then pay a few bucks later.

That's a good point. As a creator of a coin I hope to be tipping, I'm definitely going to be focusing on making the incentives to hold very clear. But I'm also happy to see people cash out if needed. Not tipping large amounts anyway
