Will be interesting to see where serbia goes from here. The presidential party is economically neoliberal, and from what I read, one of biggest complaint is failed infrastructure projects which sounds like peak neoliberalism President resigned but refuses to step down

I think this really breaks down more to politics The party in power is by everything I've read is ideology weak and they have a super majority in parliament because all opposition parties boycotted last parliament election And there's a pretty consistent number of left wing and right wing parties in opposition block( most right wing parties being monarchist) so there's no real telling where this protest breaks down ideologically ( all though I've seen reports of Serbia's closeness with Russia being a point of contention)

Yes, there are a lot of factors that influence there, just like in any other place I just live in Bulgaria and the fate of Serbia is further interesting Although I have not been there once, but many friends live there and in general they are happy with life there, but not with the government.
