I don’t get this take.  Obamacare was the biggest expansion of public healthcare in our country’s history.  Lesser evils get us incremental progress.

Also, Obamacare is just a subtly tweaked version of Mitt Romney’s proposed insurance scheme, which was originally proposed by the Heritage Foundation (of ‘Project 2025’ fame)

Obama care is toothless in a world where Healthcare is privatized, and democrats haven't done anything in 15 years to improve it, they've coasted on ACA and ignored how much these companies were profiting off government subsidies and how much the working class was suffering

What’s the hope then for the American worker?

I guess what im saying is Medicare is and has always been a system thats failing to provide for the American worker, especially considering how much private entities are being subsidized, why should we hold up Medicare for all as being a sufficient system?

I get it.  The system is broken and I’m simping for the status quo.  But nobody has gotten us closer to Medicaire for All than he did.  After yesterday, that may be a high water mark we don’t see again in our lifetimes.
