Recently pulled back into DAOs after rage quitting and getting that sinking feeling of disagreeing with friends.

It’s not pleasant.  It’s probably why DAOs don’t really work - the core experience is feeling gutted.

this exactly is why i can’t be a part of larger community projects. ran a community and very quickly figured out how being surrounded by “friends” of varying levels of values and morals is soul crushing. i’m just not built for it so i sit in my little corner now, and share art + yap.

I think the place where it falls apart is when everyone feels the need to be consulted on everything.  At least working on government has taught me this 😂 

Rather have independent positive-sum teams which can exist on their own but can become greater than the whole when the work together.
