Web3 users shouldn’t have to choose an EVM chain. Just like web2 users are never asked to pick an AWS region.

100%. if we play our cards right, we can have a single chain, “Ethereum”, for all EVM blockspace. deploy contracts on L1, but scale them on L2 with stage 2 native / based booster rollups (direct scaling / sharding). in this world EVM L2 companies turn into superblock builders / elastic scalers.

I agree but with a slight different take. I think users should know other chains exist, but they shouldn't have to choose and dig on how to use each one, move between them etc. Kinda like phones, users know about iPhones, Androids, and the various makes. They don't know what's different under the hood. They just pick what phone they like. So we have to make it that easy for them. Just let the user pick without them needing a degree. And what the goal is with @tator-onchain ! Just tell it, and it'll figure out the nerd stuff for the user. 😉
