I like work and I like to be working. What I don’t like is boredom or passively existing. I could share a lot more but it depends on which direction of this you find relevant

Work = logic puzzles

I would choose this over watching tv or going to a party

Party = stand around drinking saying nothing of value

I'll loosely quote Albert Wenger:

Economic freedom: U(B)I

Informational freedom: decentralized control of computation

Psychological (+ spiritual) freedom: right and opportunity for personal fulfilment.

My assumption is that, for most people, retirement means retiring themselves from society and their role in it - as in "I've done my part"

But I'm sure that they could still find a purpose that is equally active, value-creating and challenging (if they tried)

i am plus with with time and working for enjoyment, trickles down to do more of things i enjoy: swim, treks, sit at the beach, spend time in parks, learn new things like languages, skating, cuisines

full on family time, just talking to people learning new cool stuff. Not needing to worry about where the next meal today or tomorrow/anytime is coming from

Quality of living of me and my family won’t degrade even if I don’t do something I don’t like (double negative sentence used here seems to catch the meaning better)
