i literally just clicked away from a mini app on desktop because it asked me to do the mobile sign in thing and I couldn't be bothered. upgrade to the new auth flow asap because human nature is a B

What is the newest changes to auth flow? How do I know if my mini app (Megapot) needs changes? 

We already automatically connect to farcaster wallet, but we did this in March

If you're building a mini app using Privy and still have this "open farcaster on your phone message" please get this updated so it doesn't drop off your users on web! Privy just added auth address support to their SIWF flow

I have no idea where to go for Fc dev updates? @farcaster account doesn’t say anything, I searched “auth flow” and didn’t see anything, /fc-dev is just people asking questions. 

I’m not on socials that often, is there an email list?

Since your using the wallet only in FC context for auth / user identification no changes required in my eyes

mainly desktop if you use standard sign in with farcaster without either:
- quick auth
- auth addresses

So this affects users who are on mobile and try opening on desktop? Or who?

use quick auth + custom jwt session (in cookies) to avoid retriggering auth if the user session is still valid
