Oh, things peaked right here for sure. As the line would evolve they smoothed out all the aesthetic that gave it that rugged charm

I just watched Andor. I think Star Wars tech is pegged at this same rugged aesthetic peak too. I so wanted one of these. Never had one.

Totally! You're absolutely right. The nostalgic feel of the star wars tech is an unsung factor of the appeal! The revolt over the modernized tech in the second trilogy support that statement, I feel.
