to my designers/creatives, how important do you think it is to learn some aspect of motion and interaction design? seems like so many things are almost calling for designers to have some level of familiarity with it across job types

Yeah i think it's important to learn some part of it ofcourse i feel it gives you upperhand in some part of job you are doing and helps you develop the sense of how things work in this space which definitely helps you, also now there are soo many tools which which has leveled down the learning curve for motion.

Yup, being very tech forward makes for some difficulty haha. I would always be blending in the new with the foundations if I was teaching

I can relate i am in design school too and they are still stuck to very traditional methods of teaching and don't focus on a lot of new things. I remember saying them I work in web3 in crypto they are like it's a scan and all those things like bruhh...

Totally. You know I asked because I’m in design school right now and it’s not a huge focus in my program though I feel like many get jobs because of the skill set mixed with their other areas of expertise
