Worth repeating: - Claude code is very good - It will punish you hard for being lazy - There are a lot of other comparably good alternatives for less than $200/mo

Monthly sub correlated to usage band but still. There are a lot of alternatives to claude code that use sonnet and opus under the hood for a fraction of the price

Do you have any recommendations? I have been using it through GitHub Copilot but the context is pretty low. Currently using Gemini CLI and it works pretty well.

I’ve had success with Augment and get pretty far with the 50 credits on the free tier. Looking to try Amps and Devin. Gemini CLI looks like a great value option atm
