TIL that Puerto Rico is a Caribbean island and unincorporated territory of the United States with official Commonwealth status. So you can receive money from the US government without spending any dime in taxes. Not a bad deal.

Puerto Rico does pay US federal taxes for things like customs, fuel, payroll, just not income
