In web3, it's easier for people to connect to others who share a compatible value system, because there is no (hierarchically imposed) social exclusion.

When the plurality of value systems increases, positive social privileges can be more evenly distributed.

those with big wallets have more access to distribution of ideas, leading to social privileges.

The same for those with marketing budgets in web2.

The difference is, I'm less obliged to consume shit I don't want to, because I have more control over my algo.
