Once again the spam label algorithm has changed and it's nuking loads of users. It's literally getting insane now. 

Can devs please stop doing something?

➼ Follower numbers going crazy, down by a lot 

➼ Rewards leaderboard scores are weird (probably points being removed because people are marked as spam)

➼ Overall engagement is down/strange

Thanks for your detailed analysis as always @pichi! 🙏😺 Always enjoy reading your details on these changes. Agree with you 100%, it's not really anyone's fault or worth blaming oneself here. The algos are changing and this is messing with both users who get labelled, and wider network who then gets punished due to engagement from others no longer counting.

Personally I'm against the entire idea of filtering our Follower counts. Everyone should expect a percentage of their Followers are spammers, I don't see what benefit there is to hide numbers by default. Instead, "enhanced insights" on my raw Follower count which include culled spammers might be interesting. But making that the default is just a very confusing thing to do IMHO.

Compound that with the constant changes to the algos, leading to daily significant swings in Follower count, and it now becomes an absolutely meaningless number IMHO: far more meaningless than just raw count with zero filtering, which many of us prefer. 🤷
