🍵Why don’t we see bottled matcha more often? It’s likely because of all these reasons: ① The flavor degrades quickly ② It settles at the bottom ③ It’s expensive and hard to distribute But today, I found a bottled matcha drink at a shop in Japan! It had half the volume of bottled green tea and twice the price — so basically four times the cost 😅 That said, the taste was 100% pure matcha. Has anyone else ever tried one?

I like the matcha lattes bottled or canned but not the straight matcha. It always taste off to me and I go back to regular green tea!

Yes, exactly! The convenience of bottled matcha kind of goes against the spirit of how matcha is traditionally enjoyed. I’ve mostly had it as matcha lattes or in sweets myself. This bottle actually kept the powder and water separate until you were ready to drink it. but honestly, I don’t think I’d pay that price again for it, haha.
