I don’t remember when I switched my feed to Home, but I’m back to Following. 

It’s great to see many of my friends casts again. 

Sure, y’all are a little boring, but it beats the engagement bait and thirst traps on the other feed.

@mrwildenfree made a good comment about how the curve for new folks isn’t a bad idea, it’s how serve/steep it is and I really love that framing.

I purposefully went really vague on the new accounts because it’s not their fault and I don’t want people to throw shade at them. Take your anger out on the algorithm. 

But most of the artificial inflation I’m seeing is accounts that are less than 5 weeks old.

I think I saw you write about it not being just new account boosting. There seems to be a circle of “influencers” that are being artificially boosted. I’m happy for them, but it makes that feed predictable in a way that isn’t fun or engaging for me. I’d much rather see what people I follow are sharing, and when I’m feeling curious, swipe to the Home feed to see the others play their games.
