Context. I should have posted the official mascot first. I hate him. It’s all the eyes and the weird tentacles on his arms. Normally butts are *cute* in Japan but his butt has an eye!!!! I hate it. It’s not cute. It’s not adorable. I don’t want it. I will be forced to buy some souvenir today to commemorate my visit and my hate. But I will do so reluctantly.

You will learn to love it. It has somehow grown on me. 😅 Have fun at the expo! Some highlights I’d recommend checking out: the 8 exhibitions in the Signature Zone, the Blue Ocean Dome, Gundam Next Pavilion, Pasona Naturverse, and the Japan Pavilion. Some countries spent a lot on their exhibits with famous architects—like Saudi Arabia, France, Spain, the Netherlands, and the USA.

Which was your favorite? I unfortunately did not plan ahead and get reservations, but I was still able to see most of it in one day. I think I had about 35k steps. 😆 I will have to go back.
