Yes, it's a simulation of electromagnetic forces. I'm shooting alpha particles onto some other positively charged particles. Some alpha particles get diverted due to this interaction. The image is the detector screen.
But I have altered the raw result a bit in GIMP 😊

So awesome!!! I was thinking about this yesterday, that people in academia need to explore more their artistic sides. I've see so many scientific imagery from my friends that could easily be used in artworks. We have to bring them in! ahhahaha Nice job!
