I'm enjoying this one a lot today. Originally skipped it because I tried it on mobile, and couldn't figure it out... I couldn't figure it out because it's broken there. At least on my end. It runs at what feels like 5-10 FPS, with the katakana leaving long traces and movement lagging heavily.

The achievement distribution nagged at me. Novice at 1835, then expert at 192083 and master at 438615? When you see that wide of a distribution, bottom 1/4 of the players scoring less than 1% of the top 1/4, it can suggest something odd at play.

So I switch to desktop, and indeed it is smooth as butter and I score 1M on my first try.

(Which was encouraging for a leaderboard spot, but that was probably beginner's luck. I'm hitting a hard wall around that 1M1 mark.)

I am not fond of moving with the mouse in general. I use the mouse with my weak hand, and I'm not that dextrous. So it's a testament to the game it feels fun there.

I would not be surprised if it's an Android specific thing. I'm on a Redmi Note 10S, for what it's worth - which qualifies as a decent midrange phone I think, so maybe an OS quirk more than a raw performance problem.

That's it!😅I created an infinite runner with a Matrix theme. Unfortunately, many of my explorations and add-ons didn't work well, so I decided to keep it simple. I'm disappointed to hear that it doesn't perform well on mobile devices. I have an iPhone 13, and it runs the same as on desktop. I've made 800k on mobile, but I constantly worry about performance issues. This project was challenging to optimize due to the ongoing background animations and effect layers. Next time, I will build it differently. Thank you for playing! 🔥🤝

I haven't even understood the rules of the game. I swing wildly in the first few seconds, it gives me a x8 multiplier and a magnet (I think). There's the shield, of course. Plus that mysterious other pickup I haven't figured out.
