Why'd you make a game with only text for objects? That's a bit weird.

One of my guinea pigs, err, family relative playtester, has no experience whatsoever with video games. His initial reaction summed up my vision: "you've made the engine".

With AI moving the way it is, I think this is where we're headed. Nail down the gameplay loop. Run visuals through whatever filter you like. 

It may be interpretative, on the fly. It may be curated between a palette of styles.

I could also see an iterative process. You find a style that meets your vibe, then you apply that style as a base, and you refine it further exploring AI substyles.
