deleted my cast about @buoy as many people pointed out that search is free and available on the mini app buoy.club without annoying paywall

got confused because i tried searching on the website, and after a few searches it did show me the paywall

I forgot that specifically on web we show the upgrade modal after 3 searches, which you can just dismiss and keep searching for free. 

I would call it maybe a payledge instead of a paywall. It's an optional suggestion to support our team, but easy to hop over it :D

And we don't show the upgrade modal on our mini app or native apps

😄 Maybe 3 indeed is a bit too low for a first timer. Since you have the authentication, I would assume you could put the first one after 5 or 10 ? Maybe you do count the search queries ? 

We got inspired by our favorite dev tools like sublime and tablesplus - just annoying enough where your usage is high enough that you’ll be happy to pay and justify the cost
