Don’t you think muting people cos they quote cast your cast is a bit of a stretch?? I think that’s unfair, you should be able to tell which is real and which isn’t, I don’t think it’s that hard!

Some people genuinely vibe with ur content and are excited to engage with it more openly, most esp cos they also want their followers to see their thoughts on something someone else said as it’ll also benefit them & so it shouldn’t be hidden under a comment.

I do this a lot too, especially on X. I bring a comment to my TL by Q.rtwing them so more pp can see.

“Yea, I just mute them tbh”, sorry but that sounds very t0xic, u said that cos u think they qc so they can get more points and so u mute them instead of engaging with a pure heart cos u don’t want them to get more points. Lol.

Whether they qc to get more points or just doing so genuinely, I think the best u can do it to like & even drop a comment / recast as long as what they say or contribute is sensible. You’re not superior to anyone.

Honestly, muting people just because they quote your cast feels a bit harsh. A lot of folks are just genuinely trying to engage or share your thoughts. This app is all about engagements and sharing perspectives, and quote casting is one way people do that.  

Not everyone is chasing points. Sometimes people just want to join the conversation or highlight what they find interesting. If what they’re saying adds value, why not just like, comment, or even recast it?
