one of my best omakase experiences ever was at Masa, but this was a while back. it's prohibitively expensive now unfortunately

Sushi Amane also is very good, but the chef left recently. Not sure if the quality has dropped off

Shiki Omakase was a solid $65 lunch omakase I tried last fall

Don't go to Sushi Nakazawa, went a couple times and it's very overrated, not sure how they have a michelin star
