the first time I ever got high was in the Washington State Capitol Building

I was working as a Senate page and spent the week living down there with some other kids

second to last night we all go to the mall, one of the kids has weed, we smoke, I don't get high

so I think weed isn't a big deal (not realizing most people don't get high the first time they smoke)

next day is our last day of work 

during the lunch break, the same crew goes into the woods just southwest of the Capitol to smoke

I take some hits and get ripped beyond belief

and I have half a day of work left to do

looking back i don't really know how tf I didn't get caught or tell on myself

I somehow made it through the rest of the day wandering around and avoiding as much work as possible (shoutout the page girl who helped me when someone asked me to make 100 pages worth of copies of some document)

then my mom picked me up at the end of the day and I had the most uncomfortable ride home of my life
