I’d like to ask @dwr.eth and @v this

On the left, you see a screenshot of my profile in /recaster with a total of 7K followers 

On the right, you see my Farcaster profile with a total of 4.5K followers 

Why is there a difference? What is the actual number of my followers? Do you guys simply hide supposedly bot accounts in Farcaster that I can still see in Recaster?

And the most important question… Are these follower hunger games affect my score for the weekly Rewards?

Having spam followers does not change your rating positively or negatively. They are simply ignored

But do you count them as inactive and lower the Rewards score of people like me?

@Haole recaster shows protocol or maybe another filtered list

They can't hide spam followers from the Farcaster protocol

But if this is true, I wouldn't have 7K followers in Recaster, would I?

I think Dan and co just hide the Farcaster accounts they think are bots or act spammy

They do not actually remove them

Farcaster removes followers with spam labels in the count

Less followers is better for your reward scores

I think Farcaster don't count  spam follow

but I also found influencers like you also experience a difference in followers between X and Farcaster.
