Nerd!

the nerdiest thing i think i’ve ever done was when i was 16, i wrote a love letter to a girl. but the nerdy part wasn’t the letter itself - it was how i said “i love you.” 

i used the famous math method called “subject of the formula.” to fit everything on a single page of paper, i had to shorten “love” to “luv.” for each letter, i made it the subject of its own equation: first “i,” then “l,” then “u,” and i did the same for the rest of the statement 

we fooled (in love) around for about a month after that, but eventually i realized it was all too much for me. we (i) kind of broke up without an explanation 

few years later (about 10days ago) we got in contact again and she asked me “are you here for this real this time”
