One thing I realised yet again in the last few weeks is: "casting a lot" is not the way to grow here

it's more of being in conversations
it's more of being a part of a community
it's more of uplifting someone or handing a support
it's more of sharing opinions and agreeing to disagree
it's more of you in authenticity

Casting a lot, but with meaning. 🫣

I like seeing it as a balance between being cringe from being yappy, and actually producing something by the end of the road it leads.

(ie, my relentless thought posting about my charity, but it leads to a mini-app and actual public goods being boosted, so my dumb yapping has value as long as it’s organic. At least, that’s my wishful thinking keeping me active here lol)

A Stage Reborn is a nonprofit I founded while I was in law school back in 2015 with a mission making arts more accessible. Our first decade was mostly spent organizing online workshops, virtual theatre over an MMORPG, and more. We spent the last few years re-working our future and just entered into a collaboration with local gov to build up and designate a creative district for their city. We’re making opportunities and a whole arts economy in making arts more accessible- plus helping Minatare re-grow its population and expand after decades of enduring a lot of rural economic challenges by doing all we can for their community, schools, families, and even the whole region around it.

Okay. I disn't know you before this convo, sontell me about your charity. I've been raising funds for an onchain poetry grant fund through degen tips. And used degen tips tonsupport @crystalhearts. Would love tonlearn about more examples so we can grow together.

Definitely. The mantra “just be you” is much more meaningful especially on-chain where we have AI agents growing in a way that challenges us (ie, Neynar scores) to be “better than the bot.” 

It doesn’t mean we have to be the best quality or quantity like web2 focused on in the end. It means we just have to be our uniquely human selves and contribute more to the world than a bot can on our behalf.

It’s a way to compel and reward us to be more open/transparent/human-original and less about “copy the content that wins.”

Love to see this thought, I somewhat agree here but I also feel it has to be a mix of both real time life sharing, good conversations and even some yapping. Just makes it holistic.

And also while you are being real + yourself, it makes your cause driven shares even more valuable. Wyt?
