Absolutely agree with what she says... it's one of the reasons I am a bit reticent of certain tools that increase our productivity and speed up cycles synthetically, because in that augmentation maybe we loose something of the thing that is so essential. Growing my own food, for one, has taught me a lot :) 🌱 I have grown to be a massive fan of Asawa's work in a few short years. You can feel in what you see of hers, this credo. Thanks for sharing this quote!

Yes! Same feelings related to efficiency maxing. I prefer using these tools to be more expansive or dive deeper — not to go faster. I'm generally in favor of savoring over skimming. If someone made something with care, then I will reciprocate with my attention. Way too many things are thoughtless now.
