The rare times Iโve been to parties lately (in San Francisco and London), I was surprised by the strict enforcement of this rule: stickers over everyone's phone camera lenses at all times. No exceptions. So what happens now that everyoneโs basically Spy Kids? Will people be asked to remove their glasses? Will countries with strict privacy laws require visible recording indicators on devices like status lights?

That's a weird party rule, but I guess it makes sense. I don't think I've ever been to a party where people are recording or taking pics. I guess this is what modern times are like.

Lately I find that the more interesting something/someone is in front of them, people want to prove it so instinctively bring out their device instead of just enjoying.

Weird. If I'm at a party my phone is probably off completely or not even on me.
