The rare times Iโ€™ve been to parties lately (in San Francisco and London), I was surprised by the strict enforcement of this rule: stickers over everyone's phone camera lenses at all times. No exceptions. So what happens now that everyoneโ€™s basically Spy Kids? Will people be asked to remove their glasses? Will countries with strict privacy laws require visible recording indicators on devices like status lights?

That's a weird party rule, but I guess it makes sense. I don't think I've ever been to a party where people are recording or taking pics. I guess this is what modern times are like.

Lately I find that the more interesting something/someone is in front of them, people want to prove it so instinctively bring out their device instead of just enjoying.

Weird. If I'm at a party my phone is probably off completely or not even on me.
