@v i’d like a lighter weight version of mute that just removes people from my feed, but doesn’t prohibit them from DCing or reply notifying. I just don’t want to see so much of their content recommended in the feed.

Mute can feel overly restrictive. I would also like to understand what exactly “see fewer like this” does. I’ve tried using this to achieve the outcome you’re describing, but I don’t notice any impact.

Building a little space at /thenextwave and watching everything on /videolab.

It doesn’t do anything for my home feed. I have to resort to mute.

Not being able to start DCs is what makes mute feel so aggressive.

That sounds rough and undeserved. Some people really need to go touch grass.

Some of my best conversations here are in DCs so would be bummed to close them.

My DCs are super locked down anyway. Went through a rough patch here with a lot of harassment. Will never open them again.
