Haha, classic! I’ve heard that too—'Just save consistently and you’ll be wealthy.' Never mind inflation, stagnant wages, or the fact that your savings account earns less than 1% interest.

 Mine was: 'Buy a house as soon as you can—it’s always a good investment.' 🙃 Turns out, timing and location matter a lot."
