I largely avoided the Club World Cup. Only watched the final. It's a silly tournament and no amount of prize money will change that

I also didn't watch it when my club Liverpool won it a few years back

Maybe the new format makes more sense, especially considering that the Champions League winners used to join in semifinals or quarterfinals. 

Drafting them in groups will for sure create a more balanced competition and enhance the overall excitement.

True that, playing too many games could cause injuries and burnout to these players

The new four-year cycle format is definitely a big plus

i think it needs a shorter format to work better. Playing so many games 2 weeks after the season ends is not great.

What i do like about the new format is that it only happens once every 4 years
