😮💨 My wife texts me half the time saying she doesn’t have some of the emojis I have but she’s also an iPhone user. I’m on the latest developer beta always. She’s only ever on public stable release. Might be back end emoji data changes beyond the protocol?

😶 This is … actually fascinating. I don’t suppose there’s a way to try in a browser version on mobile? Can you post the emoji via web client?

So no to browser on mobile afaict web client runs into a different issue bc it’s also not a universal emoji It works on iPhone but on my 2 windows machines neither are running a version where I can natively post that emoji haha
