I had an “aha” moment last night with my better half and compared early token launches for projects in development to a book advance. 

The stories of people not planning how to budget and manage any early liquidity long-term is akin to fringe writers who’d blow through book advances then panic into deadlines.

There’s a correlation to be explored there.
