The rate at which people try to take others for fools these days is honestly alarming.

Today, while walking through my area, I saw a woman who has previously begged me for money, claiming she lost her transport fare. Surprisingly, she approached me again with the exact same story.

I calmly asked her, “Is it every day you lose your transport fare? And where exactly are you going?” She just stared at me and walked away without saying a word.

It’s surprising how someone who appears physically healthy, with no visible challenges two hands, two legs, and clear sight would rather keep deceiving people than make an honest effort. Some people have simply chosen laziness and manipulation, thinking they can live off others. But sadly, that mindset won’t take anyone far in life.

It's quite irritating.  The effect of this is that, in a bid to avoid these deceiver, one might actually miss someone genuinely in need.
