Got a full body MRI scan today for the first time and wasn't sure what to expect. It was crazy loud (even through earplugs and headphones over them with music playing) and had lots of vibrations the entire time. No claustrophobia luckily

To each their own, but I have to admit that the benefits of full-body MRI are viewed very critically by experts. There is a significant risk that patients will be sent down a path of (often very expensive) overtreatment. It sounds impressive at first, and the radiologist or your doctor will naturally present it to you ($$$) as a great preventive measure, but it is actually very controversial. I would tend to think twice about it. Of course, it's different if you have a diagnosis or suspicion. But as a precaution?
