Which is the goto chain to hold tokens outside of Mainnet Ethereum? Optimism or Arbitrum? Asking for a friend. 

(Base is out of question because of Coinbases involvement with US politics)

I think u can, but then ur internet sucks basically IMO. E.g. u could store your money on Gnosis chain bc I imagine they're largely unpolitical. U could only start using Kiwi NEws, bc hey will I talk shit often I do not get Donald Trump elected. But IMO in this space everyone wants to just virtue signal

Ty for the info. I guess you really can’t get around having some exposure to political players if you include investors. This was more about the direct involvement of the operators of the chain. (PS I’m really asking for a friend and they care a lot about neutrality)

Optimism is funded by a16z and Andreessen was very vocal about having Trump elected. Btw. Andreessen is a major funder of FC. And he was in a podcast with dwr too, so technically you shouldn't ask this on here if you wanna be pure

I hold way more on Arbitrum than on Optimism, and there's also way more liquidity/TVL on Arbitrum.
