It's wild because there is a historical context to what's happening now in terms of crackdown on dissent in America and mass deportations, and it was litterally stopped by the courts and ruled unconstitutional

As someone who experienced the campus “protests” I think there is a more nuanced situation. There is a difference between protesting and blocking campus and routes to classes to those you are protesting against. If a student group on campus shouted the n-word and chanted slogans calling for their demise of all African Americans that tried to walk by (but couldn’t because they were being blocked) I think everyone would demand justice for them. I think that’s all that is being asked for the Jewish/Israeli community.

And you missed the point that the last time we tried to mass deport legal immigrants on "national security" concerns due to political beliefs it was vastly defeated in court and was an embarrassment for everyone involved

One person at minimum even by far right sources(betar and canary mission) only "offense" was co authoring an op ed. Also the act of removing visas for events that don't result in criminal charges is a wild flex and extremely reactionary. Sorry you'll never convince me it's not
