My working thesis is that we’ll grow Clayton Farms Salads locations more sustainably, by keeping them company owned. The vertical integration with being the farmer allows for us to control more on the food, experience, and brand. I’ve been chewing glass for a long time, and I already have the firepower from thousands of people telling us it won’t work. Once we reach a moment in time where the majority of people see and assume its success, we can reevaluate if franchising is an option we want to consider.
