charging an hourly rate for my niche skills has been the biggest hack for me over the last 2 years. It let me work 10-20% of the time and spend the rest travelling, building projects, reading dozens of books, learning a language and picking up many hobbies. writing a blog post about my experience right now. if you're thinking about contracting, what would you like to know?

for me it was about building a lot of things over a long time to see what I enjoyed the most and doubling down on that. At university I went to over 40 student hackathons, so I got really good at building MVPs. And that's what most of my gigs are now - going from zero to one.
