I’m confused! Am I posting on Farcaster or the base app?

This is a great question for those unfamiliar with the Farcaster protocol (and btw watch /gmfarcaster for more assistance). But the answer here is YES. 

Both! You’re posting on The Base App which integrates the Farcaster protocol social graph. So anyone who is using a Farcaster client — the Base App, Farcaster’s native app, or others—will see and be able to reply/like your post. 

Right now The Base App is invite only Beta so you may see more content and replies coming from Farcaster. And you can use any Farcaster Protocol client and you’ll see your same profile, followers etc.

Ok gotcha. And any feedback on the issue I’m having with the pump and dump of post-coins?

kind of — the only difference is the name — it indicates where you’re posting from. And you can edit the profile info on each — they have slightly different features. 

But your posts, followers, following will be the same on both.
