Interesting prompt. But... I am very happy where I am, and I think that if I go back and change something, that might have a snowball effect and I might not end up where I am now. Still, if that would not be the case, there is one choice I would have not made as I made it, I would not have the feeling of having wasted 5 years of my life. If only I had gone home after work that Saturday...

I feel the same way When I think back, I feel like I should have changed something But when I dig deeper, I realize that if I had, I wouldn't be where I love to be now Anyway, let's continue the game ๐ ... I wish I had gone home that Saturday instead of going on a romantic date

That is indeed basically what happened. There was a high-priority project at a bank I was managing. A lady who was consulting the project and I had clicked. Five years later we split and I felt I had put much more energy and love into the relationship than she had.

I've come to realize that no one crosses our path without a reason. Every person who enters our life has a mission to help us grow, even if theyโre unaware of itโa kind of spiritual contract between souls. This growth can come through pain or joy... It reminds me of Shams Tabriziโs fifteenth rule: God is constantly perfecting us, both from within and without. Each of us is an unfinished work of art. Every experience we go through, every challenge we face, is designed to address our flaws. The Creator tends to our shortcomings individually, for the work of art called humanity is always striving toward perfection. Dear @arjantupan , thank you for the honor of sharing your story with us.๐๐ผ๐

Shams Tabrizi. Nice. I agree. It is all growth, and it brings us to where we are now. If that is a good place, it's a good basis to grow further from. If it's a bad place, we need to learn new lessons. But, that is said from a good place. So, it's easy to say that for me. Thanks for this, @nothing. It is a fun exercise.
